Music students enjoy Virtual Graduation
The Department of Music were, this month, delighted to host a virtual celebration for graduating BMus and Joint Honours students.
In a massed Zoom call, students were joined by members of academic and professional staff to remember the past three years, with short presentations given by performance staff and the previous Music Society President, Caitlyn Thomas, recollecting their favourite memories of concerts, rehearsals, teaching, and modules from an active university experience.
The Department of Music is one of the most distinguished in the UK, with a history stretching back to 1905 when Edward Elgar was appointed the University's first Professor of Music, and looking forward to the latest cutting-edge developments in the practice and study of music.
