Chinese New Year celebration

The School of Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music have marked the Chinese New Year with a special celebration which bought together staff and students, including our international students.

Activities were led by some of our Chinese language tutors which including a free Tai chi class and calligraphy, and it was a wonderful opportunity for people to get involved in traditional Chinese activities and learn more about their meaning. There were drinks and fortune cookies enjoyed by all, and some free giveaways from the China Institute.
