Excellent NSS results for Modern Languages, History of Art and Music

The School of Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music is again delighted to announce a strong set of results from the 2018 National Student Survey, which gathers the views of students in their final year of undergraduate study.

  • The BA History of Art achieved a particularly impressive result, with 100% of students declaring that they were satisfied overall with their degree, sustaining last year’s result showing 100% overall satisfaction among students.
  • Music has achieved an excellent result in the 2018 National Student Survey, with 92.98% of students saying they were satisfied overall with the quality of their degree. This places Music in the top three within the Russell Group of universities.
  • Modern Languages achieved an improved overall satisfaction rate in the latest National Student Survey of 88.49%, placing the subject fifth within the Russell Group[*]. NSS results for French Studies, German Studies and Iberian Studies were even stronger, with over 93% of students satisfied above all in all three subjects, placing all of them in top three within the Russell Group.
