Interdisciplinary study and research are a key strength of the School, and there are opportunities to pursue these across a range of cultural, literary, historical and socio-political perspectives.
There is a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate student community, benefiting from world-class facilities such as the Barber Institute of Fine Arts and the new state-of-the-art Bramall Music Building, and the advantages that an intellectually stimulating environment offers.
For international students from 12-year education systems, all the above programmes are available with a foundation year through the Birmingham Foundation Academy.
