Applying to Medicine

At Birmingham Medical School we offer two MBChB Medicine and Surgery courses. The five-year MBChB Medicine and Surgery course is the standard undergraduate entry into Medicine. The four-year MBChB Graduate Entry Medicine course is available for graduates with a first degree in a life science subject. Applying to study Medicine is extremely competitive and making an application can be quite daunting. Here we aim to make the process a little bit more digestible for you.

Applicants for entry in 2021

We understand that you will be concerned about the impact COVID-19 may have on your future application to study with us. We are currently in the process of reviewing our selection processes and will look to make adjustments to remove any disadvantage to applicants.
