The first PANDA (Physics and Astronomy) Postdoc Forum of the year took place on Monday, March 19th.

The meeting, organised by postdocs for postdocs, was an opportunity for the postdocs across the school to socialise and for the newcomers to learn the ropes from those who have been around for longer.

There was a small presentation from Warrick Ball on the University/College/School perspective on supporting postdocs, some of the mechanisms that currently exist (e.g.  Postdoctoral and Early Researcher Career Development and Training - PERCAT), and some of the current issues that are being investigated. It was also a good time to think about future events to be organised throughout the year.
