The School of Psychology’s Professor Stephen Wood has been named among the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2014.

He was included on Thomson Reuters' annual list of researchers whose work is most frequently cited by their peers.

Stephen featured alongside academics who have published the greatest number of highly cited papers – those that rank among the top 1% of citations for their field and year of publication.

Stephen, whose research interests include the development of schizophrenia in young people, is Professor of Adolescent Brain Development and Mental Health.

He teaches Learning and Abnormal Psychology B: Introduction to Mental Health and Psychological Problems, as well as the MRes/PhD Foundation course.
