Professor Anthony Beech examined the internet’s darker side during a filmed discussion with playwright Jennifer Haley.
The meeting was inspired by Jennifer’s prize-winning play The Nether, a futuristic thriller that explores the conflict between human desires and technology.
As part of the event, which took place at London’s Royal Court Theatre, Professor Beech tackled provocative subjects such as online sexual abuse.
He and Jennifer also offered opinions on what constitutes real life and the nature of offline and online offending.
