Anthony Beech, Professor in Criminological Psychology and Head of the Centre for Forensic and Criminological Psychology, presented at the first ever International Conference on Forensic Psychiatry in Pakistan, ‘Healing the Held’ on 8 and 9 April 2016.
The conference brought together people from the UK and Pakistan that have an interest in the practical work, research and development of forensic psychiatry in Pakistan. The conference was very successful with over 250 people in attendance. Anthony’s presentation was entitled: ‘The neurobiological basis of sex offending and implication for Treatment.’ He also spoke about how to set up training courses in Pakistan.
