Work conducted at BUIC was recently featured in BBC Two programme ‘Employable Me’, a series which looks at employability amongst jobseekers with neurological conditions such as Autism and Tourette's.
The programme, which was broadcast on Wednesday 6 April, features Birmingham University Imaging Centre (BUIC) researchers Dr Peter Hansen and Dr Clare Eddy, who conduct a series of cognitive tests on a Tourette's sufferer and discuss the idea that individuals with the condition might be more intuitive, and could therefore be suited to professions with a strong caring role.
