Juliane Kloess, a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology, wrote a blog post for Open Forest (an initiative that is a collection of evidence-based articles around mental health issues), about the practical implications of a study she conducted as part of her PhD research.
The study investigated naturally occurring, sexually exploitative interactions between offenders and children that took place via Internet communication platforms, with an aim to provide an inclusive and realistic account of the offence processes of this type of interactions.
