Dr Woodhams opened a conference at the Centre for Justice Studies in Barcelona yesterday. She presented on 15 years of research on stranger sex offending including much of her own work. The conference was organised by ICFS – Área de Ciencias Forenses and other eminent Spanish partners who presented their current research on this type of sex offender and methods for apprehending and treating them. The event was attended by many students of criminology and psychology, law enforcement and professionals working therapeutically with offenders.
