On a global scale, concerns are being raised about the wellbeing of our emergency services. One potential impact on wellbeing is psychological contract breach. Fazeelat Duran, a PhD student in the School of Psychology and the Centre for Applied Psychology has been investigating the impact of the psychological contract on the wellbeing of UK firefighters and police officers, particularly in the climate of austerity cuts.

The first paper from her PhD has just been published in the Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal. It can be downloaded for free here.
