The Department of Philosophy is pleased to announce three new appointments: Scott Sturgeon, Maja Spener and Alberto Vanzo.
Professor Scott Sturgeon (specialising in epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind), will join us in January 2013 from his current role as Professor of Philosophy at Oxford University.
Dr Maja Spener (specialising in philosophy of mind and psychology), will join us in 2013 from from the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at the University of Antwerp.
Dr Alberto Vanzo joins us as a Marie Curie Research Fellow, working on an EU-funded project on the origins of the standard narrative of early modern philosophy centred on the contrast of empiricism and rationalism.
