Professor Lisa Bortolotti has been appointed an editor of Oxford University Press's book series called 'International Perspectives in Philosophy and Psychiatry'. This series focuses on interdisciplinary field at the interface of philosophy and psychiatry.

The aim of the book series is to build links between sciences and humanities in the study of psychiatry. It does this by focusing on the broad themes of 'nature' (for causes and explanation) and 'narratives' (for meanings and understandings). Professor Bortolotti has already published two books in this prestigious series: monograph Delusions and Other Irrational Beliefs (2009) and a collection of articles Psychiatry as Cognitive Neuroscience (2009, co-edited with Matthew Broome).
