Professor Lisa Bortolotti has been awarded a 12-month AHRC Fellowship for a project entitled "The epistemic innocence of imperfect cognitions".
The Fellowship will start in September 2013. This project's main aim is to investigate whether imperfect cognitions like delusional beliefs can have epistemic benefits despite the fact that they can have absurd contents and be insensitive to evidence.
