Professor Yujin Nagasawa has been awarded a fund by the Classical Theism Project at the University of St. Thomas in the United States for his book on perfect being theism, which is forthcoming from Oxford University Press.

The aim of the book is to defend a novel version of classical theism, a version according to which God has the maximal consistent set of knowledge, power and benevolence. He derives this 'maximalGod' view from the Anselmian thesis that God is that than which no greater can be thought, which is widely accepted among classical theists.
