Dr Sarah Brooks-Wilson, Dr Anna Kotova and Professor Simon Pemberton will be travelling to Illinois to speak at a BRIDGE Seedcorn funded workshop on Monday 18th June. The workshop is a project between UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign) and UoB academics and researchers who take diverse disciplinary and methodological approaches to the study of carceral spaces and experiences (i.e. pertaining to incarceration, imprisonment and confinement, broadly conceived).
