The first-of-its-kind MOOC in "Outstanding Physical Education Lessons", from the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, begins on 13 March 2017.

In association with FutureLearn, this free online course is designed to help PE teachers achieve and sustain these levels. It defines an “outstanding” physical education lesson as one that meets the diverse learning needs of all of its students at a point in time and in a specific context.

The course is led by Dr Victoria Goodyear, who has extensive experience of supporting physical education teachers, through online CPD, video blogging and social media.

A MOOC is a Massive Open Online Course - these are free, open, online courses designed to offer a taste of higher education to learners from across the UK and the world.
