The UoB Approved: Landlord Membership Scheme recognises local landlords and letting agents who are positive members of the Birmingham lettings community. As a member, you’ll adhere to a strict code of conduct, as well as supply all the required legal documents to prove that you’re providing the best homes for our students.

How do I join?
To become a UoB Approved: Landlord Membership Scheme member, please complete our online sign-up form. It will only take a few minutes to fill out.
As part of the process, you must:
- provide proof of membership to an existing accreditation scheme, preferably listed on the Accreditation Network UK (ANUK). Memberships from non ANUK listed schemes will be evaluated individually (landlords only)
- provide proof of membership to an approved property redress scheme (letting agents only)
- read and agree to our Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a membership number within three working days. You’ll need to input this when you create an account on Housr, otherwise you won’t be able to advertise your property.
Please note: Any landlord that breaches the Code of Conduct, will be removed from the UoB Approved listings, and you will be unable to apply for a Landlord Membership again.
