    BA Cultural and Creative Industries

    Combine theory and practice with our BA Cultural and Creative Industries programme (renamed BA Digital Media and Creative Industries for 2026 entry), as you learn from and work with industry and academic experts across theatre, film, creative writing, arts, curation, production, digital media, and more. You'll also tackle the legal, business, leadership, and management aspects of these industries.

    Develop aspects of your own creative practice to ensure you understand the demands of producing cultural work, with an ability to deliver a variety of projects in areas such as performance, curation and film.

    On our uniquely constructed programme MA Film and Television: Research and Production, you'll explore theoretical and critical perspectives alongside hands-on, technical training and an industry placement. Our new MA Film and Television: Industries and Cultures discusses philosophical and analytical approaches to film, television culture and industry while examining how films and television affect viewers.

Our own theatre space where industry professionals come to work with us on the Drama campus, and an exclusive collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company at our world-leading Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon Avon.

You can hone your filmmaking skills by entering our One-Minute Film competitions and access our specialist facilities, such as cameras and an editing suite.
