With a Computer Science degree your opportunities are endless and our students are highly sought after in industry. There is a wealth of support available to support you with your career preparation and aspirations.
We hold specific School careers fairs, where a wide range of companies from across the tech industry come to our School to exclusively meet computer science students and talk about placements and careers opportunities. We also have our own Computer Science Careers Officer, who offers a range of support (application preparation, professional CV writing, assessment centre and skills workshop, and interview coaching).
We also have an academic lead who organises industry workshops, hackathons and presentations for just computer science students. Some of the top employers where are graduates work now are PwC, Vodafone, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and Monzo Bank.

Read Llion's storyLlion studied BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science followed by MSc Advanced Computer Science. He is now the co-founder of Sakana AI, a pioneering company at the forefront of AI innovation and research. Utilising the skills gained during his MSc, Llion went on to join Google, where he helped create the ‘T’ in ChatGPT, co-authoring the influential Transformer paper.
