Your health is really important to us. So here you’ll find everything you need to know about staying healthy and feeling well at university. As an international student, you’ll have access to most health services in the UK.

Be prepared

As an international student, it’s even more important you’re well prepared. After all, you’re not just starting life at a new city and university, you’re moving to a new country. 

Tell us if you have a disability

By telling us in advance, we can make sure any advice and support you may need is in place for when you arrive. It could be a long-term health condition, a physical or sensory impairment, a mental health difficulty, autism, ASD or a learning disability such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. Whatever you need, just let us know as soon as possible.

Do I need any vaccinations?

You’ll know all about COVID. But you’ll want to make sure you’re vaccinated against other illnesses too. It’s best to get your vaccinations before you travel to the UK. There are three vaccines that will keep you protected:
