What did you study at the University of Birmingham?
I studied in the College of Arts and Law and my favourite module was Shakespeare Era. At my home institution, I was studying Performing Arts.
How was your semester experience at the University of Birmingham?
I truly felt that the University listens to and cares about its students. They welcome you as one of their own, no matter how you look, sound, or speak, which is something I never experienced back in my home country. Every space I stepped into was warm, inclusive, and filled with great people and fun activities.
I would say my time at University of Birmingham was unforgettable and empowering, which I am grateful for.
Any advice to students considering a global opportunity at UoB?
Do not be scared, shy, or embarrassed to explore the University. Go visit other college events, talk to people even if they don't look like you. Come to the events super early so you can make the most of all the food and merchandise that is on offer.
