The award recognises exceptional academic achievement during the Foundation Pathway and supports successful students as they continue their studies at Birmingham.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for consideration for the award, students must meet all of the following criteria:

  • You must achieve a final confirmed overall BIA grade of at least 90%.
  • You must meet all academic, English language and other requirements for progression to your chosen University of Birmingham undergraduate degree.
  • You must progress to Year 1 of a full-time undergraduate degree at the University’s Birmingham, UK campus in September 2027.
  • You must be classified by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes.

Which countries and nationalities are eligible?
