The Eliz Challenor Scholarship Fund was established through a bequest from the late Professor Challenor, an old boy of Sir John Talbot’s School and is available for applications from students who enter the University as an ex-pupil of Sir John Talbot's School.
The Scholarship will provide a £6,000 cash bursary to the successful student.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be both;
a) an ex-pupil of Sir John Talbot’s School in Shropshire;
b) and starting a one-year Masters course at the University of Birmingham in September 2026.
Please note that this award will not be available for the 2025-26 academic year and will reopen in April 2026 for applications.
Open to students with the following nationalities: United Kingdom
Open to students living in (domiciled) in the following countries: United Kingdom
