The Eliz Challenor Scholarship Fund was established through a bequest from the late Professor Challenor, an old boy of Sir John Talbot’s School and is available for applications from students who enter the University as an ex-pupil of Sir John Talbot's School. 

Awards for ex-pupils of Sir John Talbot's School are valued at £3,000 per academic year.

The award will be tenable for each year of study for successful scholars subject to normal academic progression. Please note that awards are not available during a year in industry or year abroad.

Who can apply?

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be entering the University as an ex-pupil of Sir John Talbot’s School in Shropshire.

Students must be eligible for Home fees during their university studies.

How to Apply

Ex-pupils of Sir John Talbot's School need not complete an application and will be identified and contacted during the first academic term.
