The Elizabeth Murray Centenary Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who have entered the second year of a programme in Nursing, Physiotherapy or a BA programme in the Department of Social Policy and Social Work. Candidates must be in receipt of a full or partial Maintenance Loan or NHS Bursary, and have a household income of £42,875 or below.

Selection is based on academic merit. Successful candidates will continue to receive this scholarship in subsequent years of study, provided academic progression is maintained at a 2:1 standard.

Each scholarship is valued at £2,000.

Who can apply?

Open to full-time UK undergraduate students who have entered the second year of either a programme in Nursing (School of Health and Population Sciences), Physiotherapy (School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences) or a BA programme in the Department of Social Policy and Social Work. Applicants must also have a household income below £42,875 as verified by your regional Student Loans agency.
