The Kate Holland Charitable Trust Scholarship

The Kate Holland Charitable Trust provides one-off grants of up to £1,000 to students in financial hardship who are residents of Leicestershire and Rutland.

These grants can be used to cover the cost of items directly related to the applicant's education or training, including but not limited to:

• Clothing or materials (e.g. textbooks)
• Tools or equipment required for educational or training purposes

These are just examples of eligible costs. Other requests will also be considered if they are essential to the applicant's education or training.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the Kate Holland Charitable Trust Scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Have UK citizenship
• Live in the Leicestershire and Rutland (UK) (home address, not term time address)
• Be studying at a University, College/Higher Education Institute, or be undertaking an apprenticeship

Eligible Nationalities

Students who are UK nationals who live in Leicestershire and Rutland

How to Apply

Applications are welcomed throughout the year and will be reviewed by a panel of Trustees. Please note that the panel's decision is final and there is no appeals process.
