Built in Birmingham. Forged for the future

Almost half of our students choose to stay in the region after they graduate, because Birmingham is more than just a place to study - it's a place to get future ready.

Birmingham is a major global city, with a growing economy and a growing list of global employers who are relocating here.

There are strong graduate pathways across various sectors including the creative industries, professional services, life sciences, clean energy and advanced manufacturing.

At the heart of the UK

Our central location makes life simple with excellent rail and bus networks across the city and region, and links to almost all major UK cities. Birmingham International Airport connects you to Europe and beyond, and locally, an ever-expanding network of cycle and walking routes links campus, accommodation and the city centre.

From Birmingham New Street station, you can reach all corners of the UK easily. Reach London in 90 minutes, and Stratford-Upon-Avon in under an hour - and most importantly, you can get to the University itself (which has its own train station helpfully called ‘University’) in just 7 minutes.

Home to a major international airport and surrounded by the UK’s network of motorways, no weekend trip is far away from Birmingham.
