Tell us about your career so far
I’m a data and analytics professional with 5+ years of experience delivering insight-driven solutions across consulting environments. I’ve led end-to-end analytics projects, from data engineering and automation to stakeholder-facing dashboards- using tools like Tableau, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Sigma. My work has driven measurable impact, including 50-80% efficiency gains through automation, large-scale visualizations on big data, and performance optimizations across systems. I also enjoy mentoring, leading transitions, and translating complex data into clear business stories.
Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?
I chose Birmingham Business School for its balance of academics and real-world relevance. The MBA’s emphasis on strategy, leadership development, sustainability and applied consulting projects stood out, especially as I felt that I had outgrown my role and wanted to move from a pure analytics role into broader business decision-making. Birmingham’s diverse cohort, strong employer links, and focus on responsible leadership make it an ideal environment for me to gain global exposure while sharpening practical management skills.
What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?
I aim to transition into a strategic, business-facing role that leverages my background in analytics while expanding my leadership and decision-making responsibilities. I aspire to move into the fashion and lifestyle industry, where I’ve developed a strong interest during my MBA. My goal is to blend data-driven thinking with creativity- working in roles that involve strategy, consumer insights, or brand analytics, so I can make informed decisions without losing the creative side that motivates and inspires me.
