Tell us about your career so far

Over the last four years, I have gained experience across FMCG multinationals including Coca-Cola İçecek and Unilever Bangladesh. I began my career with a Supply Chain internship at Unilever, building a strong understanding of end-to-end business operations. I later joined Coca-Cola İçecek Bangladesh in HR, working across Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employer Branding, Corporate Communications and D&I. I have led high-impact initiatives in organisational transformation, capability development, analytics-driven decision-making and post-acquisition integration, earning multiple performance awards for business-critical contributions. This included delivering large-scale global learning and development programmes across the Middle East with multicultural teams and stakeholders, as well as leading impactful HR integration project following acquisition.

Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?

I chose to pursue an MBA to transition from a strong functional career into broader strategic and leadership roles with global scope. While my experience at Coca-Cola exposed me to complex challenges such as post-acquisition integration, transformation and operating amid external disruptions, I recognised the need to deepen my strategic thinking, leadership capability and enterprise-wide perspective. The University of Birmingham stood out for its academic rigour, experiential learning approach and strong employer engagement. The MBA equips me with the frameworks and global outlook needed to create impact, contribute meaningfully to organisational growth and progress into senior roles within consulting or multinational environments.

What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?

After completing my MBA, I aim to transition into strategic roles within consulting or multinational organisations, working at the intersection of business strategy, transformation and decision-making. In the long term, I aspire to become a global thought leader, driving sustainable growth through strategic leadership, data-informed insight and innovative practice. I am motivated to apply this expertise across diverse markets, helping organisations address complex challenges, scale responsibly and create long-term value for both businesses and the economies in which they operate.
