Why did you choose to study at University of Birmingham?

I really loved the campus when I first visited, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The visit made me excited to go to University.

What is the highlight or biggest achievement of your time at the University of Birmingham?

I've really enjoyed exploring the city, and wider areas in Birmingham. Being a UoB student also meant I was able to do a year abroad in Thailand which was both an incredible experience, as well as a huge achievement for me.

What are your future plans for after you have graduated?

I am considering doing a Masters but am also interested in looking for employment.

What skills and knowledge did you learn at University of Birmingham?

I've learnt how to be more independent in both studying as well as everyday life. I have also learnt to be more open to try new things which has helped me become more confident.

How have your experiences as a student helped you to think about your future plans, or secure your job?

Yes, I have taken modules which I have immensely enjoyed and would consider a career in. I have also taken part in internships that were suggested to be by the University which I believe will help me get a job.

What advice would you give to students thinking about studying at University of Birmingham?

Make the most of the opportunities and resources that are provided by the University of Birmingham. I would also say join societies as that's a great way to make friends and have fun!

Finally, is there anything else you would like to share about your time at the University of Birmingham?

I have really enjoyed my time in Birmingham over the last 2 years and am excited to return following my year abroad.
