With over seven years of multi-sector experience, I have developed strong capability in business development, operational efficiency, and strategy. I have led major student recruitment campaigns and supported institutional transformation through rebranding, strategic partnerships, and policy development. As a qualified lawyer, I have managed corporate and commercial projects at national and international levels, including serving as legal lead on a major assignment for Felnik Ghana Limited. I have also taught business-related law courses and assessed credit viability as a loan analyst. These experiences have strengthened my analytical judgment, leadership confidence, and ability to deliver complex organisational outcomes.
Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?
After seven years of professional experience, I recognised the need to strengthen my knowledge in business management, particularly in strategy and sustainable operations, to transition into senior leadership roles. An MBA will equip me with the strategic thinking, leadership skills and financial acumen required to excel. I chose the University of Birmingham for its rigorous, global and practice-focused learning approach, its emphasis on responsible business, and its personalised career support. Its strong professional network and industry relevance make it the ideal environment to accelerate my development into a purposeful, globally minded business leader.
What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?
I aim to build a career in business strategy and management consulting, where I can apply my experience in operations, business development, and organisational transformation to help companies improve efficiency and drive sustainable growth. I am particularly interested in roles that combine strategy, problem-solving, and operational improvement, with opportunities to work on large-scale transformation projects. I want to contribute to organisations by strengthening performance, guiding strategic initiatives, and delivering data-informed, practical solutions.
