Jemima Lambert

I have always been keen to work in healthcare and enjoyed working with children. This led me to find Paediatric Nursing. My biggest highlights include placements where I have really impacted families to support them through such tough and devastating times. I also loved getting involved with the athletics events and getting to know a whole new group of people. A big challenge has been balancing placement with sports and socialising.

I’m really enjoying university so far as it has offered me so many opportunities. The exposure of placement is highly informative and beneficial for nursing. Meeting a whole new group of people has been incredible. I would highly recommend studying nursing if you have a passion for caring for others. It is very educational, informative and enjoyable. The placements give you a good balance of working and studying.
