Why did you originally apply to MSci Theoretical Physics at Birmingham?
I am very much drawn towards the mathematical sciences and their applications. This made the Theoretical Physics course a natural choice, as well as the fact that the University hosts a big theoretical physics department.
What do you think are the best points of MSci Theoretical Physics?
The feeling of understanding something deep in physics; it's like a good plot twist.
What’s the best thing about studying at the University of Birmingham?
The best thing about studying at the University is my course mates, the departments' care for its students and the great amount of extracurricular activities (especially in music) on offer; so in general, the great community spirit.
What’s your highlight of your time at the University?
The highlight for me has been meeting all these great people with their diverse backgrounds and interests.
What advice would you give to students thinking about studying MSci Theoretical Physics?
Understand that the course has something which enables you to learn more- talk to your peers, use the chance to ask your lecturers (all of them) questions. Students and lecturers are inspiring people!
