Tell us about your career so far
After graduating in 2016, I diversified my career from architecture to business to pursue my interest in the business field with a wide range of skills and experiences. In my three years of experience as an assistant manager in Rajshree Industries, a chemical manufacturing unit in India, my expertise was in financial management, human resource management, product development and market expansion. Knowledge of technological operations in finance, Data Analytics, solutions for complex business challenges, marketing strategies for businesses, and design knowledge in bachelor's, equips me with experience in business and design. My notable contribution was in the sales department by developing marketing strategies for client engagement.
Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?
I chose the University of Birmingham for its triple-crown-accredited Business School, Strong global MBA rankings, and focus on responsible and purposeful leadership. The programme’s experiential learning, including company projects, the Deloitte consultancy Challenge and Global immersive modules, aligns with my goal to apply strategy and innovation in real business contexts. Birmingham’s diverse cohort, strong industry partnerships and extensive international alumni network offer valuable exposure and post-MBA opportunities across markets relevant to my future ventures.
What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?
In both the long and short term, I aim to build a career in strategy and operations in consumer-focused organisations, using my experience in financial management, sales management and market expansion to drive measurable performance improvements. I am particularly interested in roles that combine cross-functional collaboration with responsibility for leading in technological innovation, including AI-driven solutions and enhancing customer value. Also looking forward to any experience that fosters scalable, innovation-driven roles with diversity that blends my design thinking and business analytics to deliver sustainable, high-impact products or services for emerging markets.
