Why did you originally apply to do your chosen course at Birmingham?

The course offers a more modules in space engineering comparatively to other universities and this was of great interest to me.

What do you think are the best points of your course?

The support that is out there. Anything you are confused on, there is always help and lecturers willing to give up their time to help you. There is also such a range of different things which we study, making the timetable interesting and not boring.

What’s the best thing about studying at Birmingham?

The campus! Working with such an amazing backdrop helps keep you motivated. Also, the range of sporting opportunities of every kind.

What’s the highlight of your time at the University?

The highlight has been developing an enjoyment for learning. Before university, it was a chore, but now it is something I look forward to every day. Aside from academics I love playing hockey with the engineering team.

What advice would you give to students thinking about studying on the course?

Make sure that you understand fully what modules are offered and which are compulsory. There are quite a few compulsory space modules which some people might not be looking for.

Is there anything extra students thinking about studying on the course should know?

Do not be concerned with workload, there is still plenty of time to do the things you love outside of learning.
