Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?

I chose Birmingham Business School for its strong reputation, flexible pathways, study abroad options and the Deloitte Challenge. After exploring other Midlands MBAs and attending a postgraduate open day, I was impressed by the full-time programme’s immersive experience and the Q&A panellists’ insights on the value of dedicating a year to study. Family recommendations reinforced my decision, but the course content and opportunities ultimately made UoB the clear choice.

What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?

With broad experience, numerous transferable skills and a passion for growth, I’m open to positions in consulting, operations and advertising/communications, ideally with a retail focus. My key strengths are streamlining processes, maximising opportunities, driving sales, marketing, influencing, negotiating and leading teams. Having previously worked as a senior leader in large charities, I am keen to put my years of experience to good use, helping organisations to achieve their strategic goals. My priority is to apply my skills and experience in a company whose values align with my own, in roles that combine challenge, impact and collaboration.
