Please tell us about your current role and employer.

I currently work for Queen Mary University of London, within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health at the Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU)In my current role as a Clinical Trial Monitor, I support academic/NHS trials through central, remote and on-site monitoring. My responsibilities include planning and delivering monitoring visits, reviewing informed consent and source documentation, checking data quality and query resolution, and ensuring Investigator Site File (ISF) completeness and staff training compliance. I also write clear monitoring reports, track findings to close-out, and escalate significant issues where needed. In addition, I work closely with Trial Managers, Data Management and site teams to maintain adherence to ICH-GCP, the protocol and SOPs, and support appropriate governance processes (including documentation, information governance and secure handling of trial materials).
