Tell us about your career so far

My career has consistently focused on education management. In recent years, I have been responsible for alumni relations and nationwide resource coordination at a leading business school in China, leading a team to build an alumni network with more than 60 regional chapters across the country and over ten overseas chapters. I also developed international study tour programmes in the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Singapore, successfully integrating global resources and taking these overseas initiatives from zero to one with outstanding results.

Why did you choose to study an MBA at the University of Birmingham?

UoB’s triple-accredited MBA, research-led teaching and focus on responsible leadership align with my goal to scale international education programmes. As an education management professional, I value its diverse cohort, strong links with global employers and extensive alumni network, which will help me build partnerships across Europe and Asia. The programme’s practical projects and careers support will equip me with strategic, financial and digital skills to move from national operations into a more global business development and general management role.

What are your career aspirations after completing the MBA?

In the short term, I aim to move into a senior business development or general management role in international education, expanding cross-border partnerships and study programmes. Longer term, I aspire to lead a global education group or venture, building scalable, high-impact learning experiences that connect China with Europe and other key markets.
