Meet Manno

I study Sports, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences with a year in industry. I am part of the North African society and some other cultural societies with the Guild of Students. These are fun for a nice games night, bake-off or movie nights with friends. I also enjoy attending sporting events such as Xplosion in the evenings on campus.

7:00 Getting ready for the day

Wake up and start the day off with a protein shake, oats and some fruit to fuel the day ahead. Then I pack some lunch to give me some energy for the rest of the activities I do throughout the day, but if I forget; there are some good options like burritos and Subway available on campus.

9:00 First lecture

I then arrive on campus and attend my first lecture which tends to usually be either exercise metabolism or we sometimes have labs/practicals that I have to attend such as; coaching practicals or psychology experiments.

11:00 Second lecture

I head to my second lecture, which right now is about professional & innovation practice (which teaches us how to coach sports to beginners).

13:00 Study time at the library

After my lectures, I head over to the library for research and study to apply what I have learned in class.

16:00 Basketball game

After that, I go to the Sports and Fitness Centre for a social basketball game with ISOC (Islamic Society) which helps me relieve some stress as I engage in some physical activity.
