My interest in environmental protection and ecological research aligns closely with the Environmental Science programme at the University of Birmingham.
I did hesitate between the offers from the University of Birmingham and the University of Sydney; however, as I was determined to pursue my studies in the UK, I decided to choose the University of Birmingham.
I feel that my entire second year has been a highlight, as I managed to maintain first-class grades while taking on more than six roles across student societies and part-time work, including Student Ambassador, PASS Leader, Co-President of the Environmental Science Society, and member of the CSSA Photography Society, among others.
I aspire to pursue postgraduate and doctoral studies in ecology at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
Indeed, my experience at the University of Birmingham has been transformative, as it not only helped me develop as a stronger environmental science scholar but also enhanced my communication and expression skills.
Through the university Career Network platform and a wide range of regular events, I have been offered valuable opportunities for social networking, which have encouraged me to connect with more people and make new friends. Indeed, these experiences have been greatly rewarding.
Choosing the University of Birmingham is undoubtedly one of the wisest decisions you could make in your life.
