My favourite places on campus!

Some of my favourite places on campus include the Teaching & Learning Building, University Centre, and the Green Heart.

Teaching & Learning is one of my favourite places to study and get lots of work done; my housemates and I often go together for a study session and bring lots of snacks. It also has a lovely view of campus which definitely helps me stay inspired and motivated. We’d often take a little mental health break and walk around campus too, which is especially lovely in the summer. It’s really nice to be surrounded by other students doing assignments and stuff without the pressure of complete silence in the main library.

Another favourite is University Centre. It was where I had my first lecture, so it definitely holds a special place in my heart, but also it has the most wonderful food court downstairs, with burritos to die for. The Costa is also where my friend and I always go for our weekly catchups or if I feel like I deserve a little treat. It also has a Unique - just super handy shop & post office where I always send and receive parcels from there, which means no having to wait on redeliveries or walking to the post office ever!

Last but not least, I adore the Green Heart; it’s such a lovely area of greenery in the middle of campus. I love seeing all the students sitting out in the sun, taking a break from work or studying on the grass in the summer. It’s also so lovely when they bring in the Ferris wheel to the green heart or the big cinema screen to have a summer evening viewing of Aladdin.
