I am proud to share that I attained the highest marks in one of my courses among 156 students, which greatly boosted my confidence. In my first month here, I also managed to secure a part-time job as a Postgraduate Content Creator. This has been a blessing for me as I intended to be self-sufficient.
Beyond academics and work, I have found a home in a small yet close-knit group of friends from diverse cultural backgrounds. Sharing stories, learning about their traditions, and enjoying their cuisines have enriched my student experience immensely. One of the joyous moments was winning the Treasure Hunting competition organised by our Programme Director, Robert Fleming. This not only introduced me to my classmates but also motivated me to give my best in every aspect of the course.
Travelling alone from Bangladesh for the first time was a big leap, and balancing my finances while pursuing higher studies was never easy. Although these challenges made me more resilient and conscious about planning, they also highlighted areas I need to improve to perform well in my second term.
As I step into the New Year, I am determined to bring several changes to my life that will not only enhance my academic performance but also improve my overall well-being. Here are my major resolutions:
The first semester has been a whirlwind of highs and lows, but each moment has shaped me for the better. I am optimistic that by staying true to my resolutions, the next term will be even more successful and enriching. Here’s to a year of growth, balance, and new adventures!
