Deciding on where to study wasn’t easy, but everything just clicked when I came across the MSc International Business program at the University of Birmingham. The detailed modules, the focus on real-world learning, and the chance to dive into a dissertation—it all resonated with me. The idea of tackling actual business challenges through my dissertation was thrilling, and knowing the university has such a stellar reputation globally gave me the confidence to say, "This is it!"

Highlights of My Time at Birmingham

Let me tell you, Birmingham has been nothing short of amazing. From day one, I’ve felt supported and challenged in the best ways. A big highlight has been becoming the Digital Ambassador for the College of Social Sciences. It’s such a cool role—connecting with students, sharing my journey, and helping represent the college. Another meaningful role I’ve taken on is being a Student Representative for my course. Passing on student feedback to make our program even better? It’s a fulfilling way to contribute to our community.

The campus is absolutely stunning. Every time I pass by Old Joe Clock Tower, it feels surreal. And the facilities here—top-notch! Plus, there’s always something happening, whether it’s a guest lecture, a networking event, or just a chance to hang out with friends.

What’s Next After Graduation?

My dream is to work with a company that’s committed to sustainability, especially in their Marketing team. Being here has opened my eyes to how businesses can (and should) embrace ethical and sustainable practices. This program has not only equipped me with the tools to excel but also inspired me to think about the impact I want to have in the world.

To anyone considering UoB, my advice? Go for it. This place will push you to grow in ways you didn’t even know were possible. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life, and I’m so excited for what’s next!
