Upon completing my degree, and having realised that my chances of a career as a professional footballer were over, I decided on a career in technology. In the seven years since graduating from the University of Birmingham I have worked in mobile, gaming and online media. The ability to use the transferable skills I gained during my degree facilitated this flexibility. My grounding will always be in numbers - however it is only when you combine this with a compelling narrative that you can truly influence and change the direction of a business.
