As part of the Class Ambassador programme, new graduates volunteer at Open Days as some of the University's most enthusiastic ambassadors. They spend the day mingling with visitors, talking about their time as a student, offering advice on their courses, and answering questions on their new careers. In some Schools they even join their former lecturers and Admissions Tutors in their student experience talks.

At the October 2018 Open Day, we were fortunte enough to be joined by:

  • James Twist (MEng Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Year, 2018)
  • Nicole Lee (MEng Mechanical and Materials Engineering, 2018)
  • Lois Holman (MEng Mechanical and Materials Engineering with Year in Computer Science, 2018)
  • Maxwell Cameron-Jones (MEng Chemical Engineering, 2017)
  • Xilin Dai (BEng Civil Engineering with Year in Industry, 2017)
  • Tahir Pervez (BEng Computer Systems Engineering with Industrial Year, 2017)
  • Kamil Osman (BEng Electrical and Energy Engineering with Industrial Year, 2017)
  • Thomas Loveland (MSci Theoretical Physics, 2017)
  • Tom Sammons (BSc Computer Science 2016; MSc Advanced Computer Science 2017)
