After holding the AGM at the beginning of March, EESESoc has a new committee! Our new committee members are:

I’m Helen, the new Chair; I’m a second year Electrical and Energy student. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, this year I hope to run lots more social events for EESE students. I hope that we can get more links between the different year groups through more social events like go karting. We’re also aiming to get an EESE basketball team together to join the football team in representing the School in sports.
This term EESESoc has held several events including a FIFA tournament and Roller Disco! The football team enjoyed another successful year in the league and have big hopes for next year! The next event coming up is a trip to Bletchley Park to visit the National Museum of Computing! These will be a great opportunity to learn more about the history of computing in the UK, especially the code breaking computers used during World War II.
