EESESoc

This year has been a successful one for the EESE Society. We have run a variety of events for our members and the rest of the School of Engineering.

We kicked off the year with a meet and greet for the new students. This was an opportunity for the new Electrical Engineering students to meet each other and get to know the faculty. We had a large turnout of students from across all years and it was great to see them getting to know each other. We would like to run this event again next year so keep an eye out in September.

Throughout the year we’ve organised multiple social events for the students. We have been on several bar crawls, gone bowling and hosted a games night. We hope that there has been something for everyone to take part in over the year!

To round out the year we had a fantastic night with MechSoc and CivSoc at the Engineering Ball. With a new venue and large turnout, we hope everyone had a great time and we will see you again next year.

Looking forwards to the next academic year, we hope to run a careers fair at the start of next term, plus another meet and greet event. The careers fair will be electronic and electrical engineering focused and we’ll be working with our visiting professor to make this happen.

Thank you to all the EESE students for a great year and we hope to see you all at society events in September.

See you soon,
EESE Soc Committee
